Hello Parents!
Welcome to the Just KID-ing Learning Center website! JKLC is an in-home daycare center and preschool operated in a nanny-style environment! We enroll no more than 5 children per adult - below state ratio requirements! JKLC currently accepts full-time kids up to age 5. Miss J (Jennifer) is the owner and primary teacher. Jennifer's husband Travis (a favorite with the kids!) helps throughout the week, and Miss D (Danisha) stops in to assist on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
At Just KID-ing we use a full preschool curricuclum program customizable for kids ages 2 through 5. This allows all the kids to partcipate in a preschool program together using different learning levels within the same concepts. For example, while our younger kids learn letter recognition, our older crew practices writing the letters! It also guarantees lots of one-on-one attention and assistance when the kids need it! We will customize weekly work to fit the needs of each child, whether catching up or working ahead!
Don't worry - Just KID-ing isn't ALL about learning - we like to have lots of fun, too! We incorporate daily arts & crafts activities to complement our monthly and weekly themes, outdoor play at our neighborhood park (weather permitting), music and movement, science experiments, cooking, story-telling, and lots of other activities that are fun, educational, and reinforce our learning concepts through play!
