Hi! My name is Jennifer. I grew up outside of Chicago and moved to Arizona in 2002. I currently live in Avondale with my husband, Travis, and our two beautiful kids, three dogs, and one cat.
I started caring for children at the age of 12, when I became a Red Cross Certified babysitter and started watching kids in our midwest neighborhood. My sister and I even used to host a summer camp in our backyard for our neighbors' kids! I have since worked in daycare centers, group home centers, and operated my own in-home child care. I also spent time volunteering as a mentor at a K-5 school back in Chicago.
Besides running Just KID-ing Learning Center in my home, I currently volunteer as the Director of Children's Ministries at our non-denominational Christian church in Surprise, AZ.
All together, I have about 17 years of experience with children. I have worked with kids with special needs including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, MMR, diabetes, and severe asthma.
As far as education goes, I have two Bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Management. I also have taken coursework in child psychology and early education.
